Dr. Heiner Vogelbach started practicing at USC Arcadia Hospital more than 30 years ago. Heiner had the privilege to serve as Director of Cardiology and Chief of the Medical Staff at USC Arcadia Hospital and has been a Board member of the Foundation for more than 12 years.

Heiner considers the hospital to be his “home away from home.” He has either chaired or co-chaired the Crystal Ball event three times and helped in raising critical funds for the technical innovations at the Cath Lab and other hospital departments. Heiner greatly benefited from the new technology himself when a prompt cancer diagnosis saved his life 12 years ago. The family has supported the hospital over the years, always keeping in mind that “you never know when you may end up needing these services.”

Heiner is extremely touched to be the first physician to be named as the Crystal Ball Honoree. As a cardiologist and loyal Trojan, he is very excited to raise funds for a new Bi-Plane Imaging System for the hospital. Heiner is grateful for the outstanding support of colleagues, nurses, friends, and so many patients for this event. He hopes that this event will be another opportunity to highlight the great care USC Hospital provides for our community.
